Managed Network Services
Managed network services are part of our complete managed services portfolio, which also offers you the ability to consolidate the administration of your entire network and communications infrastructure; all you have to do is select the features you need from our managed networks, managed support and managed communications services.
We offer the following services in connection with both local and wide area networks:-
- Network design for Ethernet networks supporting a variety of network operating systems and protocols. Design of switched networks for improved performance.
- Design and installation of wireless networks, including the security features necessary to safeguard such networks from unwanted intrusions.
- We are able to undertake cabling projects or to manage installation by electrical or specialist contractors using coaxial cables or twisted pair cables to Category 5 standards. We are also able to test and commission both the cabling and network hardware.
- Fibre optic cable installation and termination.
- Commissioning network servers running Windows and/or Unix, together with linked workstations.
- Installation of network software: operating systems and backoffice systems including email and anti-virus, groupware and fax services.
- Secure internet access for network users, including firewalls and virus protection.
